'Massachusetts State House.' 1925. Watercolor on artist board. Signed and dated, September 1925. 12 1/2 x 23 1/4; 14 1/4 x 20 3/4 inches (framed). This painting dates to the same period when the artist painted his celebrated watercolor, "The Plaza Hotel," New York City.
Some minor tone lines not readily apparent and likely the result of prior framing. Tack holes in four corners though likely done by the artist at the time of creation.
