Notes:
Raymond Han was a Korean-American painter born in 1931, in Honolulu, Hawaii. He was renowned for his still-life paintings, which referenced both classical compositions and history, as well as Korean cultural-art touchstones like Joseon-era ceramics. He was also a prolific figure painter and created many intimate portraits of his partner, Paul Kellogg, the General Director of New York City Opera and Glimmerglass Opera in Cooperstown.
Han's work has been exhibited in many institutions and galleries, such as the Academy of Arts in Hawaii, the Fenimore Art Museum, the McNay Art Museum, the Forum Gallery, and many more. His paintings are also held in the permanent collection of the Honolulu Museum of Art, the Munson-Williams-Proctor Art institute, and the Yale University Art Gallery.
Some minor abrasions at the bottom left of the painting, otherwise nothing adverse to note.
