Oil on paper and board. Circa Mid Century. Appears to be the work of an accomplished American or Latin American Modern artist. Framed. 28 3/4 x 22 1/8 inches (overall). Provenance: Connecticut Estate. See next lot for another work believed to be by the same artist.
Under magnification some flaking observed. The painting appears to be on paper backed or adhered to board, or it could be artist board. The framer (circa 1960's) glued in the frame backing so it could not be removed for further exmination. The frame is in poor condition. Please note, this is not a full condition report.
