Abstract. 1957. 8 1/8 x 11 3/4 inches. Oil on cardboard. Signed and dated on verso. (Paint marks, fingerprints and small pencil sketch on verso).
Provenance: Rhode Island Collection; New York Collection. (See also, Sloans, Feb. 14th, 2001, "Fine Paintings, Prints and Sculptures Auction", for the results of two other Whanki paintings sold from the present collection).
A few scattered abrasions (in particular in the center left field). Some rounding at corners. Minor edge loss. One corner with slight indentation.
