A compositionally breathtaking photo of a nude male model standing at the West Side Piers in New York City. This photograph was shot from the artist's window at the Westbeth Artists Community apartments, providing an attractive image of the model overlooking a now demolished portion of Meatpacking's historic West Side Line (now the High Line greenway). The West Side Piers were an important site for cruising between gay men following Stonewall in 1969. Many artists and photographers within the New York gay arts scene depicted the Piers in their works, including Peter Hujar, David Wojnarowicz, Keith Haring, Leonard Fink, and Stanley Stellar.
