Two (2) Photo Albums of Vernacular Photography by Ronald S. Keats, ca. 1980s.

A large collection of one hundred and seventy three (173) cibachrome and polaroid photographs featuring Ronald S. Keats and his partner. Photo subjects include Keats and his partner on vacation, in drag, and an assortment of photos of the pair's plush animals in various settings. Various references to the gay nightlife in New York City circa 1980s can be seen throughout the albums, including posters, invitations, and ephemera for The Saint nightclub.

Album (i): Initialed "RSK" across the front of the album. Includes 33 photographs. Various sizes, largest: 12 x 7 7/8 in. (30.5 x 20cm)
Album (ii): "Merry Christmeese 1985!! " inscribed on the inside of front cover. Includes 143 photographs and one "Dapper Dog" 1985 calendar. Various sizes, most in standard 5 x 3 3/8 in. (12.5 x 8.5 cm) format or 4 1/4 x 3 1/2 in. (10.7 x 8.8 cm) polaroid format.

Condition

Some wear from use along both photo album covers.
