A homoerotic portrait by the Italian photographer Tony Patrioli. Patrioli is considered one of the principle male nude photographers of 1960s Italy. Inspired by the works of Wilhelm von Gloeden, Patrioli sought to capture the beauty of his countrymen, finding the work of other, non-Italian portrait photographers as non-representative of the men of Italy. Patrioli's career began in the 1960s, and would continue into the 1980s with his work in Babilonia, the longest running Italian gay periodical.
