Oil on canvas. A particularly fine "T. Bailey" seascape with a view of a clipper ship; a lighthouse can be seen on land in the distance on the left. Signed lower right. 18 3/4 x 14 3/4 (sight); 22.5 x 17.5 x 1" (overall). Framed.
Provenance: property of a Massachusetts collector.
Condition
Some paint loss on the lower right quadrant of canvas. Some evidence of moisture on the verso but not readily apparent in the painting.
