State unknown, however, given the provenance and richness of the impression, likely a first or early state. Provenance: From the collection of J.A.S. Monks (American painter, 1850 - 1917) and to the present consignor, his great-grandson.
Condition
Paper is laid on board and has loss at edges. Paper has lifted in areas suggesting that it's glued and not dry-mounted and that it may possibly be removed from the board.
