Six (6) painted early wood game boards.

i. One (1) raised edge black and red painted wood checker board with original recessed wrought iron wall hanger on one corner. 16 x 15 3/4 x 1".

ii. One (1) raised edge hand crafted and painted wood checkerboard. Signed on the back "John H. Woodworth - The Moosilauke." 12 3/4 x 12 1/2 x 1".

iii. One (1) checkers & nine men's morris double sided wood game board with black, red, and gold paint. A screw ring for hanging mounted on the top. 22 1/2 x 15 x 3/4".

iv. One (1) small black and white hand painted wood checkerboard. "Bo" carved on the verso. 10 x 10 x 3/4".

v. One (1) circular hand painted wood checkerboard. Black, mustard, and green paint. The board is bowed and convex, with two areas of loss around the rim. 13 x 13 x 1".

vi. One (1) checkers and nine men's morris double sided game board painted in blue and yellow. Raised edge and extended spaces at either end of the board to stage game pieces while in play. 30 1/4 x 18 3/4 x 1 1/2". 

 

Condition

Various conditions consistent with age and use. Paint loss, scratches, scuffing, loss to wood, cracks, chips, etc may present.
