A photograph taken by the PaJaMa artist collective during one of their summer vacations in Saltaire, Fire Island, NY. PaJaMa was a group formed by the famous American artists Paul Cadmus, Jared French, and Margaret French. From the late 1930s-early 1950s, the trio would take photographs along the beaches of Fire Island, Nantucket, and Martha's Vineyard via Margaret French's Leica camera, often becoming subjects of the photos themselves.
