A collection of five (5) photographs in various formats. Various sizes, the largest being 13 x 11".
This collection includes two (2) carte-de-visite photographs of Edward Wiebe, the first music instructor of Vassar College; one (1) tintype of a mellophone player; one (1) photograph of a trombone player mounted on card stock; and one (1) framed photograph of a Plainville military band.
Provenance: Property of a private Connecticut estate.
Condition
Various conditions, framed photo displays scuffs and wear to frame. The tintype displays mild emulsion flaking to the bottom and right edge. The photo of the trombone player is gently warped and is lifting from its corners from its card; the edges of the card are nicked and rounded by wear.
