"Jahrbuch für Sexuelle Zwischenstufen unter besonderer Berü." Thirteen bound volumes I - XIII (1899 - 1913). Softcover volumes: 1914 (Jan., April, July ); 1919 (Jan-April, July-October); 1920 (Jan-April, October); 1921 (Jan April, July-Oct); 1922 (Jan-April, July-October). Eleven softcover volumes. Twenty-four volumes in total.

The bound volumes contain photogravures (several of Walt Whitman, including the picture of Whitman with his lover, Peter Doyle; there is at least one original etching bound into Volume V of Heinrich Hoessli, 1784–1864, who published "H'Eros. The Greeks' Love of Men, which surveyed references to same-sex love in ancient Greek literature, was one of the first works in the 19th century that defended love between men. The bound volumes also include many tipped-in fold-out charts.

The number of other examples of these rare volumes, and possibly even the contents, is unknown and speculative, as are the remnants of the Magnus Hirschfeld Institute. This is an exceptionally rare collection and perhaps contains information that may have been heretofore lost.
