A Leica CL Rangefinder, 35mm camera manufactured by Minolta in collaboration with Leica and Leitz Wetzlar in 1974. Serial Number 1319574. Included with a Leica Leitz Wetzlar Summicron-C 1:2/40mm lens, with lens cap. Serial number 2634064. Along with a soft leather camera case and strap.

The CL (or "Compact Leica") Rangefinder was introduced as an affordable model of the classic M series Leica and produced in Japan by Minolta in the mid-1970s. The Summicron 40/2 lens is the smallest produced by Leica for the CL line of cameras, notable for its light weight and extremely short barrel.
Provenance: a private Rhode Island collection.
Condition
Camera has not been tested and item will be sold as is. Does not include light meter battery. Some minor scratches to the base of the camera body. Rubber hood of lens shows age related wear. Leather case is worn consistent with age and use.
