Two (2) works by John Mecray depicting cargo vessels. 

i. One (1) graphite, watercolor, and gouache on paper backed on card stock. A depiction of the "Enduro Trader" bulk carrier docked at a shipping port. Matted, wrapped in mylar. Signed within image on the lower right. 10 1/4 x 15 1/4" (sight); 17 x 22" (overall).

ii. One (1)  graphite and gouache on pressed cardstock. A depiction of a bulk carrier or freighter bearing a single smokestack decorated with a large stylized W, in the background of an industrial scene with cranes, workers, and piles of material in the foreground. Signed within image on the lower right. 10 1/2 x 14 1/2"(sight); 16 1/4 x 19 1/2" (overall). 

Various conditions consistent with age.

The depiction of the Enduro Trader has not been removed from it's mylar and matting for inspection.

The depiction of the industrial scene shows minor soiling in the margins, minor spots of loss, foxing, and soiling from moisture along the bottom edge and on the verso.
