Oil on canvas. Signed lower left. 18 x 26 1/4 in. Provenance: JAS Monks by direct descent to the consignor, the Great-grandson of the artist.
Two patches on verso. Some in-painting in those areas observed under UV light. Does not appear to have been previously cleaned. Small adhered inventory or exhibition label on bottom right. (The painting was retained by the artist in his personal collection and then passed by descent to the present heir, it is unknown if Monk's used this label for some reason or it relates to an exhibition during his lifetime.)
