"Front to Back." Oil on canvas. Trompe-l'oeil painting, with the painted illusion that the back of the canvas is framed to the front. (The stretcher bars, keys, envelopes, etc. are all painted.) Initialed lower right. Initials appear carved into the painted wood (faux) stretcher bar. Broken hanging wire on front intended as part of the artist's illusion. Titled on back. 14 1/2 x 17 1/2 inches.
