"Vingt-ans (Twenty year old.)" 1860-1912. Bronze sculpture. Signature on the base of the piece, "R-Larche." 12 1/2 x 3 1/4 x 3 1/4".
Note: This sculpture was likely cast at the Siot-Decauville Foundry (1860-1930), which was the preferred bronze manufacturer for many French Art Nouveau sculptors, including Larche. The Siout-Decauville Foundry produced a full range of bronze casts in different dimensions and patinas, often with allegorical subject matter typical of the Belle Époque period (1871–1914).[1]
