Seven (7) costume dress pieces from various appearances by Divine. All couture and handmade. Modeled for Vallots by Coleslaw who appeared on Season 4 of RuPaul's Drag Race Camp Wannakiki and the dog model Toto.
G. A lime green spandex jumpsuit, embroidered with black sequins and fishnet inserts. Designed by Michael-Jon, the NYC-based label founded by Michael Stanton and Jon Rager in 1975. Michael-Jon was known for creating costumes for opera, circuses, and film, and frequently fitted Divine for her record covers and promotional appearances. Divine wore the jumpsuit on the cover of "Little Baby" from the album Maid in England (1987) which was the penultimate single issued before his death.
H. A shocking pink strapless spandex minidress, embroidered with interlacing swirls of black and pink sequins. The dress was reworked with silver sequined straps for Divine’s 1984 music video for "I’m So Beautiful," which was reissued on the compilation album The Story So Far later that same year.

J. A gold lamé gown, ruched from the center front and back, with flaring bias-cut hem. The strapless bodice is trimmed with black sequinned panel “lapels”. Designed by Max Hager and later refitted in London by Bermans & Nathans, this stunning gown was worn by Divine at a New Year's Eve gala at the Palladium in London. Longtime collaborator and friend, Hager designed the iconic leotard worn by Divine for the February 1988 cover story of Andy Warhol’s Interview magazine.
K. A red rayon jersey chemise-style dress embroidered with spangles and sequins, with a fringe-trimmed skirt of Zandra Rhodes printed crepe, made by Max Hager. Longtime collaborator and friend, Hager designed the iconic leotard worn by Divine for the February 1988 cover story of Andy Warhol’s Interview magazine. Divine wore this dress during a televised promo performance of her single "Shake It Up" in 1983 on Formel Eins, West Germany's answer to Top of the Pops. The track went on to become Divine's second top 40 hit on the German charts. The dress was also photographed during a performance at the iconic Studio 54.
L. A black and gold-striped spandex minidress, the one-shouldered tube with asymmetrical hem, with label Jimmy Meyer New York, and stamped Divine. Jimmy Meyer was a costume designer active in the downtown theatre scene during the 1970s and 1980s.
M. One magenta leopard print strapped minidress.
