An estate collection of 51 (fifty-one) pieces of sterling flatware in a matching pattern. including two (2) serving spoons, one (1) gravy ladle, one (1) serving fork, ten (10) dinner forks, ten (10) salad forks, ten (10) tablespoons, eleven (11) teaspoons, and six (6) butter knives. Some monogrammed. The vast majority of the set was crafted by John R. Wendt for Theodore B. Starr of New York, with some replacements from Howard & Co. and Starr & Marcus (Starr's partner Herman Marcus left to join Tiffany & Co.; Starr retained control of the company until eventually being acquired by Reed & Barton), and with six butter knives being from J.E. Caldwell Co.
