A 20th century ceramic sculpture of two sunbathers on a ceramic ground. Glazed ceramic. Signed indistinctly. Base measures: 19 1/4 x 18"
Provenance: an auction at Veilinggebouw De Zwaan, Netherlands, then through an established New York collection.
Condition
Crazing evident on glaze and minor abraisions throughout the piece. No significant areas of loss. Small crack lines evident around holes used to aid in stability while the ceramic was being fired.
