Included alongside is a 1918 illustrated edition of the same title, published by Henry Altemus Co, featuring seven unattributed color illustrations (7 3/4 x 6 x 1 1/2"), and a 1940 10th edition of "The BlueJacket's Manual" (7 3/4 x 5 1/4 x 1 1/4").
Finely rebound in leather and muslin, cover and back page were preserved and laid on paper within. Some staining to the leather on one side of the 1st edition.
Some separation of the binding of the illustrated edition.
