In 1968, Robert Wilson (American, b. 1941) founded the experimental theater company called the Byrd Hoffman School of Byrds. Written, directed, and performed by Wilson, 'The Life and Times of Sigmund Freud' premiered at the Brooklyn Academy of Music Opera House on December 18, 1969. Players in the original production included both the visual artists Jack Smith and Gordon Matta-Clark. The painter and sculptor Paul Thek was involved in the production as well. Every lot is sold "as is," "where is," and "without warranty," whether express or implied. Lighting and electronics have not been tested and should be professionally evaluated prior to use. Art has not been examined outside of the frame unless otherwise stated.
